THE VARIOUS STANDARDS
Refrigerated vehicles can often be certified, so that you can be sure that they will do their job. An ATP certificate is a guarantee that the refrigerated van actually preserves your products at the correct temperature. There are three categories:
- FRA: You can choose between +12 and 0 degrees Celsius at an outside temperature of 30 degrees Celsius on average.
- FRB: you can choose between +12 and -10 degrees Celsius at an outside temperature of 30 degrees Celsius on average.
- FRC: you can choose between +12 and -20 degrees Celsius at an outside temperature of 30 degrees Celsius on average.
DAY & NIGHT MODE
There are cooling vans that feature a night stand. This means that you can use a plug to allow the refrigerated van to cool/freeze even when you are not driving. This can be handy when, for example, you want to load your car at night and leave early the next morning. This way, you will start off well chilled.
